Bill Yates to Share Expertise at 2016 International Forum in Melbourne

Australia’s inaugural and ground breaking Golf Business Forum will feature leading industry participants and content specialists throughout Australia and elsewhere, who will gather at the Melbourne Park Function Centre in July 2016 for a two-day event that will explore the issues and future of public golf through education sessions, workshops, a key networking event and exhibitions.

Yates joins a distinguished lineup of speakers, as he brings his world renowned Pace Manager Systems® solutions to the Forum’s audiences. His presentation will explore why pace of play has resurfaced as one of the hottest topics in golf today, how it impacts ‘value’ on the golf course, and how individual courses can identify their unique root causes of slow play, solve the problem once and for all, increase revenue and grow the game.

“A recent survey by Global Golf Advisors found that players in the U.S. will willingly pay nearly 10% more in green fees for a 15 to 30-minute improvement in pace of play," said Yates. “Slow play is damaging golf and preventing growth of the game. Golf Forum attendees will walk away from this session with practical knowledge and confidence that they can successfully address this issue of slow play at a local level. They will see that this is perhaps the most key ingredient to attracting and retaining more loyal customers and members.”

During the visit, Yates will also be putting on workshops and working with individual courses, as part of his new partnership with Golf Industry Central. GIC, headquartered in Queensland, Australia, is led by experienced golf marketer Mike Orloff, a US and Australian PGA member who covers international golf industry innovations and who will work with Yates to introduce the benefits of Pace Manager Systems to the region. **If you're interested in participating in, or hosting, a workshop, please contact Mike Orloff directly at (+61) 0415 682 259 or
