"Coming to Australia!"

"Coming to Australia!” by Bill Yates, Pace Manager Systems®, in the Winter 2016 issue of Golf Industry Central Magazine, recalls the author's presentation at the R&A’s first comprehensive Pace of Play Symposium in 2003, at which he unveiled to an audience of golf industry notables his research and insights that have become foundational to the R&A’s new 2016 Pace of Play Manual. Yates will reference the Manual during his travels throughout Australia in July.

[excerpt] "The Symposium goal was to introduce new thinking, perspectives, insights and facts to the attendees, and my work was the centerpiece…the results of years of research, conclusions, and practical implementation experience. I was so, so honored….[Now, again I am honored] – to see that the R&A has embraced and adopted the foundational concepts I brought them, both in 2002 as we improved the pace and flow of play for the Open and Amateur Championships, and again in 2003 at the Symposium. (I did much the same for the USGA in 2013-2014, sharing concepts and recommendations to improve the US Open Championships.) The timing to meet and work with you in Australia couldn’t be better!"   --Author Bill Yates

Yates promises to bring his Five Major Factors that Impact Pace of Play™ to Australian audiences and to share some surprising secrets to eliminating slow play, enhancing the value of the golf experience, and increasing course profits.
