November Tip for Course Managers: Seven Drivers to Guarantee Success

November Tip for Course Managers: Seven Drivers to Guarantee Success

Management Teams! Take a look at the following Seven Drivers for Success...to guarantee improved operations for your course:

  1. Build and train a sound team.  Hire for attitude, flexibility and talent.

  1. Embrace change. Listen carefully to your team members, your customers, and outside industry experts. Don’t be afraid to make some changes.

  1. Get out on the course. Engage your players on the range and on the course. See what’s happening and hear what they have to say.

  1. Focus on your customers. If you think I’ve already said this, believe me it can’t be said enough. Last month’s tip encourages players to speak up when problems arise on the course. Managers have to be ready to listen to what customers want, and anticipate their needs.

  1. Never stop improving your process of giving every group a high quality playing experience. For some how-to’s, visit the Articles and Publications  section of my website, or Contact Us for a free consultation.

  1. Strive for Consistency. Think about this - Consistency shows that your business process is under control. And a process that’s under control can be easily maintained.

  1. Go back to #1 and do it all again! You will be rewarded by greatly improved operations, followed by a better course reputation.
